We had a client approach us to do a due diligence on a proposed property he wanted to buy at Idi – Orogbo.

The Seller had marketed it as being close to Pan Atlantic University Annex and various other upcoming aggregations. Our client was excited and rushed us but we insisted on conducting a thorough search.

As at the date of our search we discovered that the land is an Unregistered Freehold and yet to be Excised. We further discovered that this same land covered by Coordinates 717431.102mN  by  595586.214mE proved to have been committed and set aside by the Lagos State Government for (future) public use. Meanwhile the Family continued to sell the land to unsuspecting buyers who were excited about its location.

We promptly advised our client to stay clear of the transaction as the place is a no-go area.
